Charlotte Lawley-Powell
Director of Operations
Charlotte joined the Poverty Alliance in 2025 as Director of Operations, from the Social Enterprise Academy where she worked in a number of roles covering Business Development, Programme Delivery, Operations, and most latterly as a member of the Senior Leadership Team as Chief Operating Officer. Before this Charlotte worked for the National Union of Students (Scotland) with a focus on Equality and Liberation Campaigns and Membership Development and Services.
Charlotte has an MA in History, with a focus on mediaeval and modern history of the Middle East and still has a keen interest in history and international affairs. She enjoys being outdoors, gardening, cooking and spending time with her young family.
